Celia will be calling a Contra Dance at the Nevada City Odd Fellows Hall, in Nevada City (not in Grass Valley.) There is a FRONT entrance at 223 1/2  Broad Street but some events are entered from the Spring Street entrance, the block behind, at 212 Spring St, Nevada City, California 95959, USA.

PLUS! From 3:30 - 5:00 pm Celia will be offering a callers workshop. Do you like telling people what to do? Do you like Contra Dancing? If you answered yes to both of these questions, then plan to attend the workshop! There is no charge for the workshop. Celia will guide you through: Teaching first-time dancers, programming an evening’s dances, interacting with the band, calling-rhythm and understanding timing, and how to give clear instructions to dancers (including what roles to call).

Bring a sense of humor, a dance you might like to learn to call (or Celia can provide one) and a way to take notes or video. After the workshop, please join us at the dance from 7 - 10:00pm!
